I hadn't realised it, but according to nameberry I have a preference for Steampunk baby names!! Has anyone else?

Currently trying to sort out a middle name for DS2 - see my other thread - and definitely veering towards the more 19th century ones suggested. Do you have any additions we might like for our boy? DS1 is Clement and DS2 is currently going to be Ambrose. Nameberry's definition and suggested names is as follows:

"The steampunk movement has been inspired by literature and cinema, blending futuristic themes with 19th century Victorian style. Think alternate history meets science fiction entwined with elements of steam power and clockwork."

The names they listed were:

Agatha
Alethea
Alexia
Ambrose
Arabella
Araminta
Artemus
Augustus
Bartholomew
Bertram
Byron
Cecelia
Clara
Clementine
Cleora
Cornelious
Cyrus
Deryn
Emerson
Emmeline
Eulalia
Evangelene
Genevieve
Granville
Gwendolyn
Harrison
Ivan
Jeremiah
Jessamine
Jules
Langdon
Lavinia
Lucinda
Lucrezia
Lyra
Maggie
Maxwell
Minerva
Nemo
Octavia
Oswald
Parthenia
Ray
Scarlett
Silas
Socrates
Sonya
Sophronia
Theodosia
Verne
Violetta

I like a lot of these, but Granville?!
"G-G-G-Granville, you look all sinister and Hungarian."

Hester for a girl after Hester Shaw from Mortal Engines?

Isambard is missing, what a shame. I don't know this genre at all, an old fashioned name like Diggory wouldn't be steampunk just because it's outdated would it.

For DS2 how about Ambrose Isaac?

Agatha is on my list, these are great names :)

I would have thought Diggory counted - as its the boy in the magician's nephew by CS Lewis!

I thought there had to be an engineering/science-y strand?
