I personally like Mair or Lydia. Most of the others aren't to my taste at all though.

hashtagwhatever · 23/09/2013 19:49

indigo
blake.

meditrina · 23/09/2013 19:52

Indigo (indie) - no (because of Indigo children)
Naomie - lovely if spelt Naomi
Mair - pronounced 'mare'?
Lydia - lovely
Blake - boys name
Delilah - Tom Jones song would get irritating, fast
Ivy - Tilsley, off Corrie
Mila - Ok
Sienna - Ok
Elsie - Ok (also a Corrie name, though)

bramblethecow · 23/09/2013 19:53

Delilah is gorgeous imo, by far the best in your list. Ivy, Elsie, Lydia are all lovely too. Not Sienna or Blake, bit chavvy, sorry.

Pie8er · 23/09/2013 19:54

Love your name choices...they're right up my street!

I like Mila, Sienna and Elsie but I love, love, love Delilah - definitely my all time favourite girls name!

magicturnip · 23/09/2013 19:54

Mila or ivy. I met my first Mila the other day and thought, what a lovely name.

kalidanger · 23/09/2013 19:56

Is Mila pronounced Mia or Milla?

Sawyer22 · 23/09/2013 19:59

Mila is pronounced mee-la (so I beleive)
And Mair is pronounced Mya (it's the welsh spelling)
Ooo it's soo hard I never imagined it would be so hard!

I like Delilah, Ivy, Sienna and Mila the best.

Indigo sounds like a boys name.
Mair sounds like mare as in a horse or a nightmare
The others are a bit bland.

NomDeClavier · 23/09/2013 20:04

I would pronounce Mair more as My-uhr but that might be regional.

Sawyer22 · 23/09/2013 20:06

My-uhr does sound better! :)

I agree with meditrinas take on the names.

Lydia is lovely

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/09/2013 20:08

Love Naomi - Naomie too fussy.
Like Lydia.
Hate Blake and Mila.

BackforGood · 23/09/2013 20:12

Indigo (indie) - don't like at all
Naomie - lovely name when spelt Naomi, but don't llike the added 'e'
Mair - I know a few Welsh folk with this name, but think you'd have pronounciation troubles if not living in Wales... if you want her to be called 'Mya' and you live in England, I'd spell it 'Mya'
Lydia - Okay
Blake - boys name
Delilah - would be sining the Tom Jones song every time I say her
Ivy - very 'old ladyish' IMO
Mila - don't like... sounds like a Tweenies name to me
Sienna - quite like
Elsie - old ladyish again

But wouldn't life be boring if we all liked the same names Grin

ancientbuchanan · 23/09/2013 20:41

Lydia.

Classic.

MoreThanWords · 23/09/2013 20:44

Lydia off your list.

Marnie, as an alternative?

CarriMarie · 23/09/2013 21:01

Naomi, Lydia or Sienna.

elcranko · 23/09/2013 21:11

Lydia and Ivy are my favourites.

nurseneedshelp · 23/09/2013 21:12

I love ivy and indigo! Beautiful names.

Clargo55 · 23/09/2013 21:23

Delilah is beautiful. Also love Sienna.

Tavv · 23/09/2013 21:25

Great shortlist Smile I like Ivy, Sienna, Lydia, Delilah, Mila and Elsie. Also Naomi (without an e). Have you thought of a middle name yet?

Ivy Sienna
Elsie Lydia
Naomi Delilah
Mila Sienna
Delilah Elsie
Sienna Ivy

Sawyer22 · 23/09/2013 21:59

Thank you all for your favourates!

I'm currently leaning towards Delilah, ivy, Naomi and Mila! Could you pronounce mila - my-la?!

Love the names with the middle names! I hadn't even thought about middle names yet! Doh! :)

OutragedFromLeeds · 23/09/2013 23:12

I like Mila and Sienna best. Mila is Mee-la as in Mila Kunis, if you want to pronounce it My-la I would spell it Myla.

Indigo and Blake are boys names to me (although Blake Lively is clearly a woman!).

Wingebag · 23/09/2013 23:30

Lydia Grin

It was on my list (top 3 with Libby & Millie) but DH vetoed Hmm

LeoandBoosmum · 23/09/2013 23:35

Had you considered Dahlia? Pronounced Day-leah.
The only name I remotely like on your list is Elsie. I like Noemie (No-ay-me). I think it's the French version of Naomi.
