Martha

FingersCrossedLegsNot · 19/09/2013 10:38

Martha, I don't like the sound of Claudia.

Pasiphae · 19/09/2013 11:06

Claudia: pretty and elegant.
Martha: far too serious.

ELR · 19/09/2013 11:10

Claudia: spoilt, posh, dark haired little girl all said I still like the name!
Martha I'm not keen on.

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2013 11:49

Both lovely - I prefer Claudia though Smile

Mama1980 · 19/09/2013 11:54

Martha, I don't like Claudia.

vixsatis · 19/09/2013 11:54

But Martha was the one in the Bible who spent all her time fussing about the housework; and there was a Martha at school with thick ankles.

For these very rational reasons, I prefer Claudia

smithwillsam · 19/09/2013 12:08

Both names are very nice. I love Claudia. It is a strong, elegant, intelligent-sounding, ageless and completely beautiful female name.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 19/09/2013 12:12

I love Martha

Still18atheart · 19/09/2013 12:13

There was a similar post yesterday lol.

Love love love Martha

Really don't like Claudia,

tackytiger · 19/09/2013 20:43

Not Martha - like it but can't get The Handmaid's Tale out of my head.
LOVE Claudia.

NadiaWadia · 20/09/2013 15:15

Claudia is nicer. Martha has a bit of a dowdy vibe, as squoosh said.

carriedaway · 20/09/2013 15:27

Martha is lovely, Claudia too harsh.

exoticfruits · 20/09/2013 15:34

Martha

JamieandtheMagicTorch · 20/09/2013 18:28

Claudia

Martha is lovely but much more popular

JamieandtheMagicTorch · 20/09/2013 18:30

Or what about Claudine?
