What's the general opinion on the name Martine? I love it but my husband just keeps saying Martin every time I mention it!

It's a dated French name IMO with negative associations - mcutcheon and also the French national front - Martine Le Pen.

I like it!

As a primary school teacher, I've never taught one. I'd perhaps slightly prefer Martina though, as I think it sounds slightly prettier/more feminine.
