Those American surname names sound ok in the US, in the UK they tend to sound chavvy. I don't like it for either gender.

It's a 4 year old thread - the girl named it will be at nursery by now!

You know, I really like the straight talking in the Names topic, where you can give opinins unfiltered by face-to-face manners.

But bumping a 4 year old thread seems a bit excessive.

Boy or girl. I think of it as a name first and foremost, perfectly usable. Nosey Parker didn't come to mind at all.

My nephew called his baby son Parker and I have had no respect for him since.
