thats it really!
I'm in Bristol if that makes any difference to opinions on Osian.

Osian

kiwik · 28/08/2013 22:44

Osian, although I prefer the Irish version Oisin.

Rowan is on my list - I think it's lovely - but Osian I'm not so sure on. I would have pronounced it OSS-ian until told otherwise! Grin

Rowan spelled like that sounds more like a girl's name to me.. How about Roan?

OverTheFieldsAndFarAway · 31/08/2013 23:54

Rowan Atkinson
Dr. Rowan Williams
Both men
Rowen for a girl
Short for Rowenna

It's a boys name

OverTheFieldsAndFarAway · 31/08/2013 23:56

IMO ;)

I know an adult Ossian and he pronounces it 'Oss-ee-an' His mother was Welsh, too.
