Rowan or Osian?

I'm in Bristol if that makes any difference to opinions on Osian.

Osian, although I prefer the Irish version Oisin.

Rowan is on my list - I think it's lovely - but Osian I'm not so sure on. I would have pronounced it OSS-ian until told otherwise!

Rowan spelled like that sounds more like a girl's name to me.. How about Roan?

Love both, but love Rowan for a girl, not a boy wierdly. same name I know!

I know an adult Ossian and he pronounces it 'Oss-ee-an' His mother was Welsh, too.
