celtic boys names please (Cornish or Welsh)

My parents are both Welsh, I was born and brought up in Cornwall. I like slightly unusual names, but not too trendy/ obscure, so thinking this might be the route to take!
However, our favourite boys name so far is Eben, which is Hebrew/ South African. We have no link to these roots so might be a bit pretentious?
The only Cornish boys name I like so far is Jowan. Any other ideas?
Thanks

My favourite Cornish names are Kitti & Jago. Fave Welsh names are Evan, Idris & Taliesin. Love all of them!

I know many Welsh Ebens! It's a shortened form of Ebenezer and is most certainly seen as a Welsh name. (Eban is another that's very popular) :)

I love the name Pedr. It's the Welsh form of Peter. I have a lovely friend with that name and would have loved to call DS Pedr, DH wasn't so keen though.

yes - I've looked it up and by some wonderful coincidence Eben is indeed a very old Welsh name! So now I have 2 boys names I like. One isn't celtic really but I like it. So I think we're going with Eben or Louie. Thanks all

Jowan is lovely. How about Lowen or Tristan?

Good to hear that Eben is Welsh as you like it so much! A friend's husband is Welsh and their boys are Bryn & Padrig. Emrys is quite nice I think, and unusual.
