Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering that I generated with Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder. Let me know what you think.

I already have a son Adam James from a previous relationship, but now me and my hubby have found out we're going to have another baby!!!! We're keeping the gender a surprise, but here's a few names we like, honest opinions please, but no rudeness needed thanks :)

I love your existing Adam James.

But am really struggling to like any of your suggestions here. I'm sorry!

At an absolute push the one which has the nn Anna.

But none of the boys.

I am not sure about any of your boys names. I like Imogen, Rose, Amelia, Anna, Marie. Ember could grow on me.
Dont think any of your first name suggestions "go" with Adam which is much more traditional (and more to my taste), but I know not everyone minds about names going together.

As an aside, I always find it a bit strange when the middle name option is completely different depending on the first name, eg why not Ember Henrietta or Kason Levi.

I like Dontaye Ryan 'Donny' and Ember Imogen Rose and I also quite like Akeelah, I have never heard this name before and think it could grow on me.

Agree with PP that none if then seen to 'go' with your ds's name.

Tacal you've managed to pick both my fav names, Donny and Ember, great minds think alike ;)

I'm the same as everyone else I'm afraid - like Adam James but not keen on any of the others. Ember Imogen Rose is OK, but I imagine it would constantly be mistaken for Amber.

Are you American? They're a bit ghetto and a bit trailer park. In fact they're so bad I'm guessing this is a wind up.

I don't like any of the boys names but like Ember for a girl! Or I think you should just use Keely (as it's my name and for once someone hasn't spelt it with that bloody extra e before the y!) haha x

Also my dh name is Adam so I know the names fit together well!

I like Dontaye but not NN donny,I love Levi and out of your girls I like Akeela but not keely

Sonny is the only boys name that is not awful.
The girls middle names are nice.

Ember Imogen rose is the only name I come close to liking on your list - sorry

I'm afraid I don't remotely like any of them either - hope I'm not being harsh, but I wonder if they'll think Adam got off lightly as that's a lovely name. Different strokes tho etc x

Adam James is lovely. These are not. Sorry.

Imogen Ember Rose (this way around) works nicely.

Dante rather than Dontaye isn't bad.
