Is it a real name?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
fluffyanimal · 19/08/2013 21:11

BalloonSlayer, he grew up to be a flasher??

5madthings · 19/08/2013 21:11

I know an anakin, he is a twin...his brother is Luke! :)

Their dad is a star wars fan..

MinnieBar · 19/08/2013 21:12

Don't be silly.

Teladi · 19/08/2013 21:13

Please don't... go with Luke or even Han!

Amy106 · 19/08/2013 21:21

Please don't do this. Think of your little guy standing in the school yard getting teased because of his name.

91chloejp · 19/08/2013 21:26

After saying it 20+ times it's growing on me

gillywillywoo · 19/08/2013 21:28

Cool name for a pet. Cat or dog for instance.

But otherwise... No.

And I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan.

noteventhebestdrummer · 19/08/2013 21:29

Foolish, it is

OneStepCloser · 19/08/2013 21:30

My ds would love to have been called Anakin or possibly Darth Maul Smile

miffybun73 · 19/08/2013 21:30

No, put it out of your mind at once Grin

bootsycollins · 19/08/2013 21:32

Grin drummer

pining · 19/08/2013 21:39

Hahaha. My ex wanted Anakin for our son........NO! Never.

Pinkpinot · 19/08/2013 23:01

Oh, Han, didn't think of that!

But then would the pronounciation be Han or Harn??

I am joking by the way, I'm not even in the market for a baby name!
I just thought it was interesting, a name that has a nice sound but awful connotations because of a movie, and I didnt know if it was real or made up for Star Wars

My son still insisting that Darth Vader is good!!

Rhubarbgarden · 19/08/2013 23:44

RoadToTuapeka · 20/08/2013 09:12

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 20/08/2013 09:46

Anakin Seal? The legal recruitment people!

Tattva · 20/08/2013 09:58

I know one in real life. He has the most ridiculously northern surname just to top it off.

Poor kid.

Pound to a pinch of shit he changes it to Stephen before he's twenty

squoosh · 20/08/2013 13:05

Just awful.

Would be like calling your kid Frodo or Bilbo.

SoupDragon · 20/08/2013 13:07

Why the hell would anyone do something so mean to their child?

MrsPatMustard · 20/08/2013 13:15

Please no....

TSSDNCOP · 20/08/2013 15:31

Tattva please, please let it be Arkwright

Grin
PicnicPie · 20/08/2013 15:33

Reminds me of Anadin painkillers.

absentmindeddooooodles · 20/08/2013 15:34

Nooooooooooooooooo

GW297 · 20/08/2013 22:02

Yes I think it is. I know an adult girl with this name but slightly different spelling. Not a fan!

Tattva · 20/08/2013 23:20

TSSDNCOP Grin no but you're on the right lines
