I am the 5th generation where the eldest female in each generation has a name beginning with M. I am now looking to continue the tradition but really struggling. So far we have
May
Mia
Melissa
Melanie

DH has said no to
Melody
Maisie
Millie
Molly

Any suggestions??

Marlie - we were going to use this if DS was a DD. It's an old English name meaning "pleasant meadow by the sea" apparently, which pretty much sums up where we live, so would have been perfect!

Marion, a little 'late middle aged' these days, but I bet it comes back around soon. I like it.

elQuintoConyo · 14/08/2013 20:27

Maribel. Spanish mix of Maria Isabel. Would have been DS' name if he'd been a DD.
Doesn't sound 'forrin' imho and is easy to pronounce and spell.
