CoolStoryBro · 14/08/2013 03:14

Haha! DH will be so happy! He predicted an Olive comeback 17 years ago when we considered Olivia and I said that would never happen. I won't tell him though. I do hate him being right.

Melonbreath · 14/08/2013 09:19

It's cute. I like it

MyBoysAreFab · 14/08/2013 09:20

I love it!

telsa · 14/08/2013 13:15

strong, individual, quirky

onedogandababy · 14/08/2013 13:19

I love it. And would use it, except it's awful with DP's surname Brown.

Mumblyboo · 14/08/2013 13:57

ooh i really like all the three (and more) word associations. I do love it, DH not so sure but its the number one contender and i have a lovely, v girly middle name to put with it to 'pretty' it up....

BurbGirl2013 · 14/08/2013 16:28

Very cute and different (in good way)

candycoatedwaterdrops · 14/08/2013 18:28

It's a food.

evamummy · 14/08/2013 21:39

Oily, herby, salty olive! I'm honestly surprised that some of you find that 'cute' Shock!?

evamummy · 14/08/2013 21:40

Olivia, on the other hand, is lovely. Also sounds good in other languages, but try saying Olive in French or German Smile.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 14/08/2013 21:40

My nan's name
Popular with hipsters

specialsubject · 14/08/2013 21:42

TerrysNo2 · 14/08/2013 21:44

Love it- it was on my list :)

pygmy · 15/08/2013 10:58

I used to love it but have gone off it of late. I think the overuse of Olivia and Oliver make it a bit blah.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 15/08/2013 11:02

No and no.

Not a good name for an adult either.

MrsBungle · 15/08/2013 11:04

oil
on the buses
green

DH suggested this for DD. I really dislike it, it is a very harsh, matronly, middle aged name imo.

pussycatwillum · 15/08/2013 12:14

Never understood why, when there were so many lovely names to choose from, DMiL's parents plumped for Olive. She was a lovely lady, but it just made me think of olive green. Why would you?
