Best day for birth announcement in the paper?

Does anyone know if there is a better/worse day for a birth announcement in the Times/Telegraph?
Eg is there a bigger section on some days? Or is it in a more obvious place in the paper? I looked the other day and could hardly find it at all, it was so small and hidden.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm not sure.

Although I would put a birth Announcement in my own local paper as opposed to a national.

Just out of interest, why are you putting a both announcement in the times??

Parents-in-law request... They have done it for all 12 grandchildren and want us to as well. Family tradition I suppose.

then just put it in any day.
Are you also pitting one in your local paper also?

Sorry I can't help. Someone else may be able to. :)

Saturday in the Times - they have the usual announcements section but it's longer than the rest of the week plus a "New Readers" section where they feature 2-4 new babies with photos and a little story about them.

thank you Runandbecome!

You're welcome! (it's my guilty pleasure on a Sat morning - along with the wedding bit in the same section of the Times on Saturdays!)
