Not sure if my suggestions are 'uncommon' enough for you?!

A & J names I like (which will be too common for you I'm sure!) include:
Aidan
Joseph
Jacob
Jamie

Anna

I've got an Aidan.

It's after St Aidan, who formed the community on Lindisfarne from Iona. Means a lot to us because these are 2 of our favourite places.

It's not that popular and our (11yo) Aidan is the only one we know.

MortifiedAdams · 12/08/2013 13:37

I would have Aidan or Adam, Jonathan or Jack.

For girls, Anna or Alex, Juliet or Janey.

My aunt had twins and called them Alex (Alexander) and Juliet if that's any help in the A and J department.

I've always felt that Austen is a quite marvellous name. :-)

My DW's friend has a daughter named Jessamy, which is a variation on Jasmine (also nice), I'm told.

Love Adrianna or Adrienne. Also Anastasia, Anya, Aurelia. Jacintha? I really like Josephine though it isn't that unusual.

Arlo or Jonah for a boy - or a friend has a ds called Atticus.
