Seasonal names...
Natalia/Natasha - "born at Christmas"
Holly
Ivy
Noelle
Robyn
Scarlet/ruby - red related ? Christmassy
Estelle- star

Love Natalie and probably wouldn't have made the association, too subtle for me! Not keen on more obvious links like holly or ivy. I do like Eve though

Rhubarbgarden · 12/08/2013 12:54

Mary

Carol
Joy
Faith
Angel/Angelina
Noeleen (French)
Beth (link to Bethlehem? Too tenuous perhaps?)
Belle (tenuous again)

Christine / Christina / Kristina - 'A Christian.'

Christy - a form of Christine, 'A Christian.'

Eira - 'snow'.

Gabrielle / Gabriella - feminine version of the Angel Gabriel, the angel who told Mary she was pregnant with the baby Jesus.

formicadinosaur · 13/08/2013 00:04

Jesus?

BeaWheesht · 13/08/2013 00:34

Ds is a Xmas baby we didn't like the idea of a seasonal name. In his class there's a Nicholas who was born on Xmas day oh and a Gabriel.

Boys - Noel and the above...

Girls - Christine, holly, eve, noelle,

MrsBottesini · 13/08/2013 00:35

Eve...is that only if she's born on 24th or 31st?Grin
Stick with a 'normal' first name imho. more likely to pass the Playground Test Wink

BeaWheesht · 13/08/2013 00:36

Oh I'm an idiot , you're having a girl!

I'd go for Noelle, estelle or mary

kiwik · 13/08/2013 00:42

Stella or Seren - both mean star
Belle - tenuously like Christmas bell?

Iamnormalish · 13/08/2013 05:27

Carole/Caroline/Carolyn
Holly
Ivy
Gabriella
Noelle/Noella
Joy
Josephine
Mary
Star
Angel/Angela/Angelina /Angelica

whyno · 13/08/2013 07:21

Robin
Gabriella
Noelia

Shinyshoes1 · 13/08/2013 07:35

Santa ... It's Scandinavian .... I wanted it for my girl ... DP flatly refused Sad

natalie2223 · 13/08/2013 15:18

I'm Natalie - birthday very near Christmas and so name was chosen to reflect this. I like it because it's not a very obvious link and it doesn't seem to be too common :)

DalmationDots · 13/08/2013 15:49

Robyn, Ivy, Holly, Noelle, Stella, Nicola (like St Nicholas!), Gabriella (Angel Gabriel), Francine (Frankincense!)
