Emmaleigh Faith goes well together. I don't think the spelling means as much in the states as people over here.

Have you thought about Emmeline? Pronounced Emme- leen?

Out of the boys I like logan Joseph, the other name sounds too One Tree Hill to me. And I think Logan goes well with Rian.

That's how you guys spell Ryan? Lol my husband is Brian so I wanted to spell it rian ;) Emmaleigh faith, Logan James, Rian Joseph, and aurora rose were my picked names

Emmaleigh? Is that meant to say Emily?!

Onyabike · 07/08/2013 07:29

Emmaleigh is great for US (would not be so good in UK). I think all your name choices sound good together and work well so go for which you like best.

nooka · 07/08/2013 07:48

Generally Ryan is spelled Ryan and Emmaleigh is spelled Emily (why you would want to have your dd have so many unnecessary letters in her name is beyond me). All your chosen names seem fine to me, although Ella and Hope run into each other a little, sounds a bit like Ellahope.

Sorry OP miss understood your last thread.

Aurora Rose is nice, did DH veto?

nobabe · 07/08/2013 17:52

Dh veto? And dd? I. Sorry I don't know the short hand you're using.

fanjodisfunction · 07/08/2013 19:11

Meant did your husband veto the name Aurora.

nobabe · 07/08/2013 19:56

He doesn't really like it very well :(

Ella Hope is lovely, but the popularity of Ella (here, at least) would put me off.

What about Esther Hope?

Not keen on unusual spellings of names, I'm afraid, so for me Emily would have to be Emily.

fanjodisfunction · 07/08/2013 20:10

I like Emily/Emmaleigh how ever you want to spell it, I think it goes well with Ryan.

nobabe · 07/08/2013 20:15

My spelling would be Emmaleigh I had a girl named Emily when I was young I didn't much care for and for some reason if I spell it different it doesn't remind me of her. My mom likes Logan James, and Emma faith. But I hate not know which to pick! I'll probably just have a list I go through calling the baby the names until it fits him or her.

Emily or Emmeline for me - both are so much more logical for a young girl learning to spell her name.

Hope is my choice for middle - lovely.

nobabe · 09/08/2013 08:24

My first name is pretty long so I think it would be OK :) and we would have so many non options! :D

The girls middle names being faith and hope are because we have been trying for so long and it took alot of faith and hope to get a baby :)

They are nice middle names to have, honestly don't worry about the spelling thing, I have a very common first name and I'm always spelling it for people. When you know someone spells it a way then you spell it like that for them. Its only really for forms and really how many of them do you fill in.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/08/2013 15:45

Lucas James is lovely, as is Emma/Emily Faith. Emmaleigh is awful.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/08/2013 15:45

And you do know it really doesn't matter what your mum likes, don't you?

nobabe · 09/08/2013 19:14

It matters to me. My mom and I are very close
