Help please! less than 2 weeks to go until ds is here and we have no agreement on a name...

Me again... I know you have helped me out on previous threads around the name Felix...thank you!

We now have some kind of progress...

So far we have 2 shortlisted boys names:

Felix Edward or
Edward (nn Ned/Ted/Ed whatever suits) Douglas...

Edward & Douglas both family names...

We like Edward and Felix but are just not completely taken or 100% about them, but can't find anything else we agree on! If we end up with a girl the name is chosen. Why are boys names so hard?! I prefer Felix, DH prefers Edward.

DD is called Noa so a boys name needs to fit with this so maybe slightly unusual. We have a Swedish last name ending in 'son' and have Scandi/Med roots so open to suggestions in those areas.

Really need your help with opinion on the above, any other names you think would fit etc.... HELP!!! I think we may end up with no name baby for a few weeks after he is born at this rate....

Okay,I like both names,I like the NN options of Edward more than the name itself though iykwim.
Felix 'goes' better with Noa IMO.

Hi..as a previous Felix poster I am obviously biased...but please don't stress..had names for DD1 and DS but arrival of dd2 in the middle was a complete surprise as the name we had chosen, agreed and decided on was completely not her....took a few days to get it right and it doesn't "match" the other two but it is her!!

Still have her "no name baby Admiraltea" wristbands...poor little thing!

I second minipie's suggestion of Edwin if you're not sure about Edward and have Scandinavian roots. I like the name and had a crush on a lovely Edwin at school

Actually I think a single syllable Scandi name with Felix or Edward as middle name would work very well.

Since you only have two, just wait til he arrives and then choose one. If you're decided on Felix or Edward then just stop thinking about it and then when you meet him you'll have a clear mind to see which he is/which you like most.

I know of a Noa and Felix sibset.
