Not pregnant yet, but on holidays and we are seriously thinking about this!

Alec was on my shortlist. I also liked Wilfred, Isaac, Dominic and Hugh.

I had Edith, Caroline, Helena, Evelyn, Hazel and Valerie on my shortlist of girls names.

LillyNotOfTheValley · 05/08/2013 21:24

Wow, thanks ladies! Some lovely suggestions here! Keep them coming!

It does not have to be an A name, it just turned out that way. FWIW DD rarely gets called by her full name as everybody around us has embraced the nn Taïa - courtesy of DS. But maybe I should consider other A names or names ending in A as I just realized that #1 got A as first letter, #2 begins and ends in A so #3 (and last one) could end in A? silly but I kind of like the idea - could it be the hormones already? Blush : opinions?

I am adding Adam, Ariane/Arianna, Isaac, Edith and Hazel to my brand new list.

Florence?

Romily · 06/08/2013 20:15

Albie sprung to mind!

TheYamiOfYawn · 06/08/2013 20:38

Harriet
Rory
Hector
Alice
Hermione
Isobel

impecuniousmarmoset · 06/08/2013 20:47

If it's another A, bear in mind the irritation when they start getting post addressed to them:) A schoolfriend of mine had the same initials as his two brothers, and they never knew who letters to 'N.Smith' were for - source of many arguments!

sleepingbeautiful · 07/08/2013 21:33

As you updated saying you're interested in names ending in "a", here's a few more suggestions:
Alec, Antonia and Claudia
Alec, Antonia and Julia
Alec, Antonia and Larissa
Alec, Antonia and Victoria
Alec, Antonia and Flora
Alec, Antonia and Stella
Alec, Antonia and Dorothea (Taia and Thea is cute)

Alec, Antonia and Luca
Alec, Antonia and Sacha
Alec, Antonia and Joshua
Alec, Antonia and Ezra
Boys names ending in 'a' are hard!!
I personally like this combo
Alec, Antonia and Fraser.

KittenofDoom · 07/08/2013 23:48

Did you get that from Lady Antonia Fraser?

sleepingbeautiful · 08/08/2013 04:01

Er no lol, never heard of her. We have an Alec and a Fraser in our family and I like the names together.

crumpet · 08/08/2013 04:49

Angus
Francesca
Claudia

Longdistance · 08/08/2013 06:03

Alanna for a girl? If you want to keep the A theme going...

exoticfruits · 08/08/2013 06:14

Starting with any letter except A- it makes the post very difficult.

formicadinosaur · 08/08/2013 17:07

Rory or Georgia

DragonsAreReal · 08/08/2013 17:12

Ashara?

lottiegarbanzo · 08/08/2013 17:24

Sebastian and seraphina

LillyNotOfTheValley · 08/08/2013 20:02

I think it is kind of late now for the post confusion since we already have two A.Z. at home but then we live in the US and all mail come stating also the mn initial.

I ran the list past DH, so here it goes now:
Adam
Ezra
Victor
Hadrian
Arthur
Isaac
Flynn

Cosima
Harriet
Hazel
Edith - I know my DM hates it though
Georgia - too many feminized male names?
Valea - Heard it yesterday and find it awesome, any opinions?

Still looking for other ideas! Thank you all so much, I think this DC3 project is now going to happen..Smile

ConcubinePatch · 09/08/2013 11:27

Roderick is one you don't find often. Can be Rod(dy) or Rick(y), so quite a versatile name.

KittenofDoom · 09/08/2013 12:40

Ooh, I like Roderick. good one.

burberryqueen · 09/08/2013 12:42

Arlo
