Hi everyone, just wondering if you can help! We have a boy name picked for our second baby (due very soon), but stuck for girls. The two favourites are Nina and Zara but can't decide. Middle name likely to be Elizabeth or Elise. What goes best do you think? Thanks in advance x

I love Nina

MortifiedAdams · 03/08/2013 16:51

I love Nina too.

TallulahBetty · 03/08/2013 16:52

Love Nina and Zara.

cece · 03/08/2013 16:53

I like both.

I think I'd need to know last name.

Nina Elizabeth

Zara Elizabeth

ummmm

Nina I think...

TallulahBetty · 03/08/2013 16:53

Sorry, that's probably not helpful as you asked which goes better Blush I do like both and they both go IMO.

GW297 · 03/08/2013 16:55

Nina Elizabeth or Zara Elise

missjulia · 03/08/2013 16:58

One is my favourite, the other DHs, although we both like both! Maybe just need to wait til they are here :-( Choosing a name first time round was easier!

I agree it has to be Nina Elizabeth or Zara Elise...worried Zara Elise might end up sounding like Zaralise?!

Just wait til baby is here. Tbh I never understand why people want to get one definite name sorted. A list of 2 or 3 is fine and just decide when baby is born Smile

I prefer Zara. I'm not very keen on running vowels together as I think it is always to say, so I wouldn't personally go for a name ending in A with a mn starting in E, but if those 2 mn's are tge only 2 choices then I think Elizabeth sounds better as it is less likely to run into one long name (Zaralise is exactly what you would end up with if you use Elise!).

BlueStarsAtNight · 04/08/2013 11:31

I think it is awkward to say I mean

NINA ELIZABETH

pommedechocolat · 04/08/2013 23:17

Nina

Amy106 · 04/08/2013 23:21

I really like the way Nina Elizabeth sounds.

Saffyz · 05/08/2013 09:51

Zara Elizabeth

TenthMuse · 05/08/2013 10:54

Both nice but prefer Nina to Zara. Goes well with Elizabeth - wouldn't usually go for a vowel followed by a vowel but this one seems to work!

Thanks for all your replies! I'm being put off Zara by the shop connotations. It is such a big responsibility naming a baby!
