I like them all except Kerr. Totally disagree that any are 'dweeby'!! Evan is my fave (it's on my short list if DC turns out to be DS). I would use Frederick rather than Freddie.

Fergus. Love it. MY DS3 was nearly a Fergus.

Fergus, Ellis and Blake don't go with your surname. Kerr is not nice. Evan and Freddie and both good and go with Joe, I like Evan best.

If you choose Kerr your two sons names will concatenate to 'joker' which I think means that Kerr definitely needs discounting.

Lots of people are saying Evan, which is a very nice name, but when I added it to your surname - Evan Sykes I can hear a person in my head with an Aussie accent saying for Heavens Sake - not trying to be funny, I just wanted to point it out.

Haha thanks folks I never even noticed the 'joe Kerr' thing or ' Evan sykes' ( heavens sake ) thing they are def out . My husband loves Freddie so I think it may have to be that . Can't think of any. Other boy names we both like

Freddie is lovely and goes very nicely both with Joe and your surname. I think it's a good choice.

I like Freddie :)
Evan too, but not as much.

Don't think Ellis Sykes works :P

Hi, I really like Freddie too - it goes really well with your surname and if he shortens it to Fred later that sounds good with Sykes as well. I was going to say the same thing about Evan Sykes/heaven sakes! Also Fergus Sykes sounds a bit like For Gods Sakes to me.
