what do you think of Harriet?

A friend gave birth last week and named her dd Harriet and I think it's just beautiful.
Never even thought of it for either of my dcs but I love it.

I know an older Harriet (a friend's sister) who was always a Hattie when we where young. She suited it :)

It's on my list... My DP loves it and probably the one that goes best with surname.

The first half of the name sounds masculine "Harry" and the ending is a bit hard-sounding "ut". Hattie sounds a bit comical, like someone wearing too many hats.
