What do people think? (nb I'm not actually pregnant just curious). I came across it recently and loved it but never heard it before. Does it have a history?

Just like Yomama I thought of the character in A History of Love. It's a great book! Alma works well in many different languages.

I can confirm Alma means apple in Hungarian.
