Narrowed it down to these three, to go with DS1 who is Clem(ent). Your views much appreciated please.

I'd definitely go for Ambrose.

Sorry not keen on any of them but when push comes to shove I'd choose Aubrey.

Love Ambrose and Aubrey! Deserve to be more widely used.

P.S. Clement and Ambrose has a nice ring to it.

I think Ambrose is winning me over! I too think Clem and Ambrose sounds good. And my husband is a farmer so I can handle the oo-arrr / ruddy cheeked associations as they will probably come true!!

One thing - can Ambrose be shortened? What on earth would his nn be?

Seriously, what nn could Ambrose have? Really don't like Amby, but its inevitable that people in our family will try to shorten it so would like to be prepared. Please help!

Love Ambrose. NN - if you like any J names you could give that as middle name and nn AJ? although given your chosen names this is probably not your style. I would probably accidentally end up calling him Ambo if it were me, as I seem to shorten every name to something-o. Again, possibly not a winner.

I know a lovely grown up Aubrey and like that a lot too. Aubs is a cute baby nn.
