Georgia, Alana, Tabitha or Darcy? Sister for Elodie......

Hi Ladies, I'm in my final trimester and struggling to find a name for our second daughter. Big sis is called Elodie and we have a relatively plain English surname. We're looking for something a bit unusual/unique and classy. What do you prefer from the four names above? Or any new suggestions..... Thanks!

Georgia is lovely and was on our shortlist.

I like Alana and Darcey but not love them. Hate Tabitha, sorry. One of those names that makes me cringe.

Wbdn28 · 21/07/2013 16:19

Georgia, Alana and Darcy are all very nice, but I don't like Tabitha.

Picturepuncture · 21/07/2013 16:22

Georgia or Alana for me.

Probably Alana.

sleepingbeautiful · 21/07/2013 17:22

Georgia

Tabitha

BikeRunSki · 21/07/2013 17:36

Georgia, then Elodie.

Littlecherublegs · 21/07/2013 17:44

Love Georgia, that was on our shortlist.
Not keen on the others to be honest.

Tabitha by far the nicest IMO. Goes well with Elodie.

fluffyraggies · 21/07/2013 18:39

Not Tabitha or Darcy! ('cos those are my top 2 GrinWink)

Still18atheart · 21/07/2013 18:41

in order of peference
Georgina nn Georgia
Alana
Darcy
Tabitha

jennycoast · 21/07/2013 18:43

Tabitha. I'd have loved to call one of our 3DDs that, but at the time DMs best friend had a cat called that, so I wasn't "allowed". Wish I'd stuck to my guns!

OddFrog · 21/07/2013 18:48

I love Georgia with Elodie and Darby is nice too. How about Sylvia?

wigglesrock · 21/07/2013 19:00

What about Sylvie? I'm not mad keen on the names - Tabitha is probably the nicest one imo, but that's just my opinion.

If it makes a difference, I know 4 Darceys under a year. Now popular names don't bother me, all my kids have popular names but you did mention in your op wanting something a bit unique.

Katana · 21/07/2013 20:51

Thanks! I think Georgia is the front runner at the moment. I know that Darcy is becoming increasingly popular and just wondered if Georgia is too? We live in Surrey btw.

I like them all a lot.

In order of preference:
Tabitha
Georgia
Alana
Darcey

Boonyjinkies · 21/07/2013 21:58

All gorgeous names.

GertrudeMorel · 21/07/2013 22:02

I know you're not supposed to say 'chavvy' on MN but Darcy, Georgia, & Alana scream it to me, especially Darcy.

Love Elodie though Blush

WhatSheSaid · 21/07/2013 22:03

Have you considered Georgina? I prefer it to Georgia.

bootsycollins · 21/07/2013 22:07

Tabitha is my favourite from your list. Here's some more suggestions

Georgie
Ramona
Claudia
Marcia
Marnie

devonsmummy · 21/07/2013 22:08

I have a Darcy & would say avoid it if you want something different!
How about Marnie?

redspottydress · 21/07/2013 23:14

What about camille?

BlueStarsAtNight · 21/07/2013 23:38

I like Georgia best, then Alana (though not sure Elodie and Alana go that well, they're a bit too similar for me with the l's).

I'm in your neck of the woods and haven't come across any Georgias in any baby groups in the last year or so, and I've been to quite a few!

Mutteroo · 22/07/2013 02:02

Elodie & Alana - Beautiful choices!

Good luck OP

Katana · 22/07/2013 20:55

Oh I quite like Marnie too!
