2 "bible" names together....?

Hi everyone,

I'm not particularly religious but really love the name Isaac with Joseph as middle name.... Only just realised these are 2 biblical names.... Do you think this would work or would this be constantly picked up on?!

Also, does anyone have son called Isaac? What nn's have come of it? And are spelling mistakes a big issue?!

Thanks! :)

They're both very lovely names - if ever I have another son I'm pretty sure I'll go with Isaac.

DS has a double-bible name (and I'm really not religious) - I ummed and ahhed a bit for that reason but I think they sound good together and I wouldn't change them.

I love both those names and I love how you are spell them.

I love Joe and Zac too. Zee or ZeeZee is a bit twee to me.

bread if that was aimed at me let me say I did not choose those nicknames.
his brothers did. if that's ok

We have an Isaac and it's fairly common for people to spell it 'Issac' but I'm not too bothered. Nobody else shortens his name and we do generally call him Isaac, but occasionally we refer to him as Ike or Ikey-Jim (he's Isaac James). That's just us though.

Lovely names.

Wouldn't worry about the biblical thing.

I have dts - Isaac and Thomas. One new testament, one old. They are 5yrs and I was only told this a few months ago. I ad no idea. I am not religious at all and DH, asian, is bhuddist.
We always get Isaac spelt wrong. NN would ne Ike, Issy or Zac possibly but we have an unrelated nn and always call him Isaac if using that and no shortened vrsions. Aparently at school his best buddy calls him Eyes.

We have an Isaac, some family members call him Isey and he wants to be known as Zac now as he announced the other day Grin. Ike and Isa are also well known shortenings but you will probably evolve your own!

We get Issac quite a lot, even from family! Shock It amazes me but I'm pretty much used to it now. I think Isaac Joseph is fine, our Isaac has DH's name as a middle name and that is a (lesser) disciple's name so I suppose it is biblical! We really liked Noah for DS2 but decided against it as they would both be a bit old testament together.
