Not strictly a baby name thread, but maybe you can help me. DS is 5 and doing his party invitations. He wants to invite a girls called, according to his pronunciation, "Tadiksha".

He's spelling it, 'Titcksha', but that can't be right can it?

Help! It's last day of term tomorrow so need to get invitations out in the morning!

Dheeksha is possible. An Indian name...

LowLevelWhinging · 17/07/2013 20:22

that could be it. But he's definitely giving it 3 syllables - blank dik sha.

Could it be an Eastern European name ending in 'sia', like Danusia/Danuta or something?

why didn't I sort this earlier??!

Any mums you can ring to see if they know?

Misfit13 · 17/07/2013 22:40

It looks - and sounds, to me, like 'the teacher' Sorry, not much help!

Did you find out what it was?? Smile

Not yet. He gave her the invitation apparently, so I'll wait and see if I get a text saying, 'Patricia would love to come to his party!' Or whatever Grin

I'm intrigued!

Actually, it could easily be Patrycja (Pat-reets-ya)!
