Clement vs Louie

That's it really.. We both love them both. I am a bit scared to use Clement as I love it written down but am not used to saying it out loud. And much as I don't want to care what other people think, I just do. So this is a trial run. Will invariably baby-ise it to Clemmy I suppose.. And that's a bit girly.

Sigh.

Congratulations! Amos is a great name Smile

Awww thanks folks. Still not quite saying it with conviction myself so every little boost helps! Much appreciated.

Congratulation! Amos will fill his name, in a few weeks you won't imagine him suiting any other name.

Thanks again... DP's mum hates it. Apparently we're not "thinking of the child". (Nor is she incidentally as she forgot his birthday today and an earful about the name was all he got!)
I can see an email in his inbox from his sister entitled "Name" so I guess that will be more of the same. Will find out later I suppose.

Anyway it's a done deal. I expected some hesitation but nothing like this.

I can't believe she's being so rude about her baby grandson! She had her turn to name a child and now it's your turn. FWIW I think Amos is a lovely name, unusual but not crazy and will suit him at every stage. Great choice!
