Struggling with Baby names - suggestions/comments welcome

Hi,

So our little one is due in 8 weeks and we don't know if we are having a boy or girl and we just can't decide on a baby name. There are lots that we like but none that we love!

I think we are looking for something traditionalish but also it would be nice if there weren't 5 other children in their class with the same name.
(A TOUGH TASK!) Also our surname is an H so I am not sure other H names sound right.

So here is the list so far:

Girls: Freya, Elise, Olivia, Matilda (Mattie/ Tilly), Agatha (Taggie)
Boys: William, Wesley (Wes), Max, Logan, Sebastian, Jago & Charlie

I would really welcome comments on the names we like but also any suggestions on other names to consider!

I love Agatha (Taggie) and Wesley (Wes) - great, underused classics!!

I love Elise - it's also on my shortlist so I might be a little biased! Freya is lovely too.

As for your boy names, I really like Logan and Sebastian

Really like Elise,Matilda,William & Sebastian.

How about Felix, Daniel, Aidan, Rowan, Imogen, Erin, Enya, Anya, Maria?

Re girls, there are squillions of Freyas and Olivias, not many called Elise or Matilda and virtually none called Agatha -I LOVE Agatha, beautiful

Re boys, there are loads of Charlies and quite a few Max and Williams. Sebastian and Jago are nice and fairly unusual. Sorry but I hate Logan and Wesley (I think I could just about guarantee that he would be the only Wesley in his class though!)

Maxwell it´s beautiful name for boy, and Monica for Girl

Love Matilda on your girls list Round here, well my DC school there are several Freya/Elise/Olivia's.

Like Logan best on your boys list.

Agatha and Sebastian are my faves!

Elise and Logan for me.

But I do like Olivia and William too.

Taggie - are you a jilly cooper fan?

I love Freya but DH vetoed it. Elise is also lovely (so's Taggie BTW). I'd avoid Olivia just because its so popular. I also like Sebastian and Max

Agatha and Elise make a refreshing change - like them both. Don't like Olivia, Matilda, Freya as they've become a little overused.

Wesley and Jago are great and, again, are classic underused names. I'c avoid William, Max, Charlie and Sebastian if you're concerned about popularity. Also don't like nicknames Seb/Basty.

Definitely Agatha and Wesley. Love them both.

Love Elise. Don't like Taggie.
LOVE Wesley and Sebastian. Don't like Jago or Logan.

I have an Olivia who started primary school last September and shes the only one in the year, but ssh don't tell anyone, it tends to enrage people I love love love Elise as well.

I like all your boys names, Logan I'm a bit iffy about - I hear Logan, I think Wolverine.

Agatha and Jago are brilliant.

Matilda and Sebastian

I really like Elise, Agatha, William and Sebastian.
I'd avoid Olivia, Matilda, Max and Charlie if you don't want a popular name as I know a lot of these. I have a concern William maybe popular but personally I only know one small one.
Other suggestions:
Lydia, Julia, Louisa, Frances, Eugenie
Owen, Evan, Benjamin, Simeon, Dominic

Elise or Wesley

I like them all except for Jago.(Iago or Yago)
Baddie in Aladdin and in Othello ( correct?)

Wesley is awesome! The only Wes I know is 30-odd and is very cool! So would def be the only one around I imagine. Love it!

Freya - used to like this but gone right off it
Elise - ok
Olivia - lovely, elegant but very, very common
Matilda - lovely, my favourite of your list and I like the nns too
Agatha - like this but not keen on Taggie

William - solid, traditional I like it
Wesley - not keen
Max -ok
Logan - don't like this
Sebastian - like it
Jago - kind of like this
Charlie - so overused
