Baby is due in 10 weeks so plenty of time to change my (indecisive) mind but our current shortlists are...

Eva - love this but is it too common?
Nancy - too common?
Roxy - cool or stripper like?!
Jeannie - oh not keen but I could work on him
middle name will be Rae

Sonny - does this work as an adult name?
Leo
Austin - would he get called Aussy?!
Middle name would be Patrick

Girls names ok, but Rae is dreadful. All the boys names are truly dire.

I like Eva Rae and Leo Patrick - both lovely!

Eva is my favourite, although also like Nancy.

For a boy Austin is great, or Leo. Don't like Sonny. I know an Austin who is sometimes Austy but it is cute.

Are you sure you couldn't come round to Rachel as a middle name? I think it is lovely and really prefer it to Rae. Or did the Rachel you knew have a middle name you could use? Alternatively perhaps Raquel or Rochelle?

You cannot have Roxy Rae! Sounds like a burlesque act. Sorry.

Sonny and Jeannie sound very redneck to me, but I honestly like everything else!
