Did you have names picked out which wouldn't have suited you dc?

note not a name bashing Katie Hopkins inspired thread!
But I was just thinking how much my dd suits her name and how she never would have suited the other names I was pushing for- Ivy or Francesca both lovely but not for dd and we had Jonah picked out for a boy which I've totally gone off now even though I loved it throughout pregnancy.
Weird how my feelings on a name could change so much so quickly

We had 2 picked out, the one we used and Aria. DD would never suit Aria! It's a real dainty Girly name in my head!

I had a name for a boy and a name for a girl selected for our first child ( didn't know the sex).

When DS1 appeared it didn't suit him. He ended up with name we had never considered but it suits him. He is 8 now and I am glad we weren't stubborn and just stuck with the name we really loved on our short list. He really suits his name.

Yes. I wanted Posy for dd2 and she would have been a terrible one, especially now that she is a black-clad teenager!

I wanted Ines for a girl - I thought I would have a little black haired beauty. DD is a wee blonde wisp of a thing!

Mines opposite, I don't think dd suits the name I picked in the end, think she would have suited the other one- ah well.
