What do people think about liam? Is this popular at the moment? DH thinks its a bit chavy - is he right?

It's a nice, normal name. I know a couple under 10 and one who is late 30s.
Re the chav comments, I'm sure there are some chavs called Liam, just are there are some Jeremy Kyle guests called most other normal names like Matthew and Emily as well as the dreaded Fifi-Krystal-Tips etc. My sister has some cousins-in-law who are cringefully chav, but their daughters are called Matilda and Jemima (which are not definitely not 'chav' names according to MN) despite the girls dressing like an audition for Gypsy Wedding most of the time... I wouldn't worry Liam is tainted by chav use :D

Make me think Gallagher...

Its a nice enough name, I only know one liam, he is eleven and um mm challenging.,, his mum is lovely and he can be lovely as well.
