Hi everyone, I am 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, I already have 8 year old grace and 7 year old Emily. My husband and I are struggling with names, so I thought if I post the possibilities we have come up with, you may have some suggestions for us

We like but don't love; Finn, Ben, rhys, drew for boys

Naomi, charlotte, Katy, Maggie, susie, niamh.

I don't want anything too popular and it can't start with t because it doesn't go with our surname.

No boys suggestions I'm afraid as your tastes are quite different to mine but I think I share some girls name preferences, how about: Alice, Anna, Heather, Rosie (Possibly short for Rosalie or Rosalind)

Ah thanks for replying, the problem I have is that lots of early and friends have used names I had in mind tag as Daniel, Sam, Harriet, Alex, Freya, George, Harry, Oliver, Oscar, Jacob, Isaac.

I love francesca, absolutely love it so that's added to my list. I like Edward, Megan and Alice too.

I also like but can't use due to family members: abigail, Anna, James, Lucy, amy.

Ooh i like lucas and seth.

I also love Elizabeth but can't use it as a close family member has.

Have you tried Nymbler? You type in a few suggestions and it gives you roughly similar names - not all of them will be to your taste but it might be worth a go...

It's frustrating when names you like are already used!

Francesca is one of my favourite names. Olivia also sounds lovely with your other DD's.

I'm not so keen on Olivia having known a not very nice one but have been considering liv. Just not sure it's a full enough sounding name on its own?

Lots of people have used nice names pretty recently so it's tough, I like lots of names well enough but none really jump out at me, especially boys.

Hannah/Hanna?

I like Liv but not sure if it could be a proper name either.

Thanks bluechampagne, I like Rachel and Lewis. Adam is my husband so can't use that. I think amelia is too close to Emily.

Very nice list haveigotpoosforyou, unfortunately my favourites from your lists are all accounted for by close friends and family members names and their children's names.

My friend liked Liv but not Olivia - she went for Lavinia (nn Liv) :-)

OP I am also toying with Liv for my baby bump,.was a bit too nervous last time round. Not sure whether to have just Liv or Olive.

Francesca is lovely. Does your dh like it? Lots of nickname choices too. :)
