Looking for inspiration! What would you put with Scarlett?

Sophia (another s initial though)
Imogen
Jasmine (too Disney princess?)
Clementine
Hermione
Phoebe
India (2 names from Gone with the Wind)
Delphi
Saffron (too matchy?)
Portia (hate meaning though, and makes 'red Porsche'?)

Love them all. Agree another s is a bit samey. My
Favourites are Imogen and phoebe, both go really well with Scarlett.

notso · 08/07/2013 09:33

Love Scarlett it was on my list for DC2,3 and 4 but they were all boys!
If we had used it we would have had Scarlett Frances or Scarlett Emma.
From your list I like Imogen, Hermione and Phoebe.

bugsybill · 08/07/2013 09:57

I think phoebe and imogen go the best with Scarlett.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 08/07/2013 10:10

Scarlett is a tricky name to pair up with another but agree Imogen would go well. Next I'd pick Hermione.

I'm going to suggest another name, Adele, depending on what your surname starts with.

Love Imogen and it goes very well with Scarlett. Jasmine is really lovely and doesn't scream Disney Princess, IMO.

I'd avoid 'colour' names, so Ruby, for example, would be out.

Lexie, Lola, Pearl, Ciara/Keira and Leah go aswell, I think.

bassingtonffrench · 08/07/2013 10:18

I know a Ruby and a Scarlett! twins.

wouldn't recommend it though to be honest.

noisytoys · 08/07/2013 10:33

I know an Amber and Scarlet twins Grin

Exhaustipated · 08/07/2013 10:38

I think they're all great except Portia and Delphi, which seem a bit silly tbh.

Clementine or Hermione are my faves.
Also thought of Beatrice when I saw the thread title.

siluria · 08/07/2013 21:41

I think Jasmine totally transcends the Disney thing - it's a well-established name in its own right and it's beautiful. But I like Imogen with Scarlett even better. I know Evie is on the MN blacklist for popularity, but I think Scarlett and Evie is a pretty combination.

Johansson
Captain
Fever

AllegraLilac · 08/07/2013 22:16

Eloise!

Alexandra is another name that popped into my head this morning to go with Scarlett.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 09/07/2013 10:44

Scarlett Theadora

kittykat10 · 09/07/2013 10:45

hope you don't mind me butting in but I always liked scarlet rose

siblingrevelry · 09/07/2013 10:49

My DD is Francesca Scarlet. Everyone comments on how pretty it is (but equally if she doesn't 'do' pretty when she's bigger she's Frankie too)

allmycats · 09/07/2013 10:50

Sod you rob99 - I wanted to say Fever

littlepeas · 09/07/2013 10:52

Sorry - wasn't clear - looking for sibling name, not a middle name. What about Lucia (Spanish pronounciation) - that's one I forgot to mention.

littlepeas · 09/07/2013 10:55

Francesca was actually the runner up name for dd! I can't use it now though, as it's been taken by immediate family member.

For a sibling, from your list I like Imogen and Pheobe.

Also Lucie, Hannah, Freya, Eve

xTillyx · 09/07/2013 11:01

Oh and LOVE Lucia

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 09/07/2013 11:03

Oh! Thanks for coming back and clarifying.

Well any of the above... Except a noun like Rose or the name that sounds like a German car.

RomeoTheFather · 09/07/2013 11:18

Phoebe sounds sweet :) and a good name to have for when she grows older
