Which do you prefer as the name of a baby brother/sister for Thomas?

Are you sure about having Annabel or Clara with Thomas Grin

From the boys I think Thomas and Arthur sound better but I also like Sebastian.

Sebastian and Clara.

Clara is lovely! Sebastian is nice but Seb/Sebby/Basty aren't imo. So I vote Clara and Arthur.

mumsnoc · 03/07/2013 15:01

Clara and Sebastian

Jojay · 03/07/2013 15:04

Arthur for the boy

Either for a girl, both are lovely. Annabel has more nickname potential - in a good way!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 03/07/2013 15:06

I was going to say maybe neither of the girl's names with Thomas too! Especially is Annabel ends up being Annie at some point...

Lulu90 · 03/07/2013 15:27

Both boy names are lovely, but I prefer Arthur. If it's a girl, Clara, beautiful name, I haven't heard that in a long time. Congratulations x

Arthur and Clara, although I like Annabel too.

ballinacup · 03/07/2013 15:47

Looks as though DH wins with Arthur, I'm pleased my preference of Clara seems to be popular...

I did think of the Thomas the Tank reference with Annabel/Clara but kids will always find something to tease each other about and its relatively minor in the grand scheme of things.

Sebastian and Annabel.

Arthur and Clara

SilverBirdie · 03/07/2013 23:37

Arthur and Clara are both wonderful!

BlueStarsAtNight · 04/07/2013 01:34

I like Sebastian but think Arthur sounds better with Thomas. I think either girls name works well but I prefer Clara.

fussychica · 04/07/2013 15:36

Sebastian - Arthur "old man down the pub name" but very popular at the mo and a favourite on NMConfused DHs middle name.

Both girls names but Clara just edges it - which go best with your surname?

FoofFighter · 04/07/2013 15:41

it's the other way around with TTTE, Annie and Clarabell, so you'll be fine :)

Justfornowitwilldo · 04/07/2013 16:08

Clara is lovely but it's Dr Who's assistant's name. The last one was Amelia. The one before, Rose. It's going to be very popular.
