It's Ace Knute.

Like king knute or like nut?? I just don't know how it's pronounced.

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/07/2013 17:54

I *think^ it's as in King but never can tell.

Hmm not sure about it if it is Knute as in King, maybe it is Knute as in noot with a silent K?? [Clutching straws]

LemonBreeland · 01/07/2013 18:05

I missed that she had given birth. It is certainly interesting. Ace is okay.

BunnyLebowski · 01/07/2013 18:10

Her rep has said it's Ka-nute. After her fella's grandad.

Ace Knute Johnson. Not my kinda name.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 01/07/2013 18:23

was his granddad King Knute

Daffodill27 · 01/07/2013 18:45

It's pronounced ka-nute, well so says the daily mail :)

TheMagicKeyCanFuckOff · 01/07/2013 18:52

Ace is an okay name, and I think it's great that they chose a name with a meaning behind it (Knute for the grandfather). Better than most celebrity names.

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/07/2013 19:26

I like Ace,though wouldn't use it myself.

Can't quite believe Knute is a relatives name Shock

Thought it had been a whilst since it was in common usage!

Ace is a bit trendy, but it's ok as far as celeb names go. The Granda was Swedish. Or Norwegian, one of the two, so makes sense. And also that cute little polar bear in Berlin was called Knute.

I want a polar bear cub.

picnicbasketcase · 01/07/2013 19:36

Better than spelling it Cnut I suppose. Maxwell and Ace. Gracious.

MyShoofly · 01/07/2013 19:44

Not my cup of tea (grimace)

TheMagicKeyCanFuckOff · 01/07/2013 19:49

His grandfather is Swedish. It's a rare name even here though.

nooka · 01/07/2013 20:02

I like Knute, especially with the family link. Middle names are a good way of celebrating family, and where slightly odd names should go. Ace is a bit silly, a nickname not a real name to me.

DoctorAnge · 01/07/2013 20:03

I like it

Taffeta · 01/07/2013 20:04

I love Ace. I know one. He is ace.

Nancyclancy · 01/07/2013 20:04

I prefer Knute to Ace!

Saralyn · 01/07/2013 20:19

It's spelled Knut in Norwegian. It's a perfectly ordinary name here, especially in the grandfather generation.

Sanjifair · 01/07/2013 20:40

I just think of 'Ace Rimmer' from Red Dwarf...

It's just not a good name.

bugsybill · 01/07/2013 23:17

I quite like ace.

I think it goes well with Knute and I like unusal middle names. Much better than boring James or Thomas stuck in the middle.

maja00 · 01/07/2013 23:18

I've known 2 Knut/es - both German/Scandinavian.
