what is your first thought?

Very popular now. Like Oscar was a few years back.will date, I suspect

Its not popular, it hasn't even made it into the top 100 names!

Oscar is in the top 50 names, about 30ish I think?

Last year Oscar was in top 20. Year before it was lower.

In the last three years arlo isn't even in the top 100 names.

There may not be many Arlos, but I seem to know all of them :o

In my world there are more Arlos than Jacks.

I love it; I can just see him as a floppy haired, blonde, brown eyed cherub.

Wish I had chosen it for DS2 now; he and DD's names both end in "-ly" and no matter which one I call for, they both shout "yes?"

This is who it makes me think of. Depends if you watch Justified I guess.

I like it but I was very surprised to hear it (2 years ago?) as I had never heard it before and then there was a baby called arlo and a couple more since.

So I think it will be one of those names that is not very common but because it is different people pay attention when they hear it and they start to think that there are little arlos everywhere (even though there aren't that many!)

I do like it but have northern IL's who drop their H's and we are prob no more than 30 miles from Harlow so it wouldn't work for us. Did suggest it though.
