What are your thoughts of these 2 boys names? We are really struggling to decide or agree on a name. These 2 seem to be the current favourites. Thanks.

Love them both - I have one of each

Elquota · 17/06/2013 21:16

Both very nice! Do they both go well with your surname?

Elquota · 17/06/2013 21:16

And could you have one as middle name, so you get to use both?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/06/2013 21:19

Fred or Freddie for me !

ABitLesMis · 17/06/2013 21:23

I have a Freddie George so love both!

takeaway2 · 17/06/2013 21:23

I have a G. Love it! But love both names though! Smile

Nospringflower · 17/06/2013 21:24

Fred/Freddy for me Grin

HMT13 · 17/06/2013 21:46

James is the middle name, that's my hub's name. Thought it would be a landslide for George to be honest so this is interesting! Only thing that bothers me is 'freddy' as an adult name, but I suppose he could choose to be called Fred then. Both go well with our surname.

Definitely George, love it :)

serin · 17/06/2013 22:46

George is lovely, don't like Freddy/Fred at all (sorry)

HMT13 · 18/06/2013 20:32

Don't be sorry! I want honest opinions Smile

George is lovely. Classic.
Frederick is ok.
Freddie is not.....similar to Alfie, Charlie, Archie etc in my book.

sonlypuppyfat · 18/06/2013 20:38

When you were out on the town when you were younger and met a new man what would you have thought if he'd have introduced himself as Fred?

YokoUhOh · 18/06/2013 20:42

DS is Alfred nn Freddie, so he can choose when he's older :) love George too, but we have hundreds in my family for some reason, which is why I couldn't have it.

Elquota · 18/06/2013 20:42

George James is a little awkward to say. So I vote Frederick.

HMT13 · 18/06/2013 21:00

Yeah George James is what is slightly putting me off George, it is slightly hard to say.

Fred wouldn't bother me, my grandad was Fred and I also know a man my age called Freddy so I find it quite normal.

George James doesn't sit too well. My Freddie is Alfred James, like YokoUhOh, we gave him something he could choose to use in whatever form he liked Fred Freddie Alf Alfie Alfred

YokoUhOh · 18/06/2013 21:59

eatyourveg ah I'm really glad there are other Alfred/Freddies, I think it's a cool name/nickname combo :)

HMT13 · 18/06/2013 22:25

We thought about Alfred but I really dislike 'Alfie' (no idea why, just don't like it) so don't want to give people the opportunity to call him that. So if we went for Freddy it would be Frederick I think.

Don't even know what sex the baby is, I just know it's a boy cos we can't decide on a name!

eatyourveg · 19/06/2013 07:42

Wilfred? Then if he hates Freddy he can call himself Will - thats a cool name for any teeneager

HMT13 · 19/06/2013 14:34

That's an idea, never thought of that!Smile
