Ooh! Great shortlist. Your current DC's have lovely names too.

Idris, Atticus & Jude were on the shortlist for both my DS's. Sylvie & Vita are my favourites from your girl shortlist. As you have a double barrel surname, shorter names would work well, (a one syllable surname often doesn't quite sound right).

Other suggestions for you (not that you need them!)

Rex
Ivar (pronounced Eevar)
Cosmo
Kit
Iggy
Wolf (Wulfric? Bold, but I love it!)
Caska
Constantine
Soren
Magnus

For a girl, I love Severine but this may be too long with the surname?

These may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I love them (and between my two DS's they have three of the above names).

Congratulations & good luck! Smile

Mabel and Rufus

I love Atticus, but we worry its too long with a double barreled surname...also the other two DC have two MN,an Atticus would have only one, short mn,do you think this would ever be a problem between them? Or would Atticus itself just sound too long next to Skye and Arlo?!

Also love Jude and Rufus but they are really quite popular already, and on the rise,I don't want a top 100 name...

If we don't use Mabel as a first name,I think I'd like to use it as a mn (it was my nans mn,we haven't used any family names for the other two though,so perhaps we shouldn't start now...

My girl name was Greta Mabel, which is heavenly!

My boy list is Hector, Edgar, Otto and Magnus. Any of these take ya fancy?

OrangeJuiceSandwich · 09/06/2013 15:09

Romy or Jude for me.

I'd like the idea of all 3 having 4 letter names, and not sharing an initial.

Elquota · 09/06/2013 15:49

Mabel Vita or Rufus Jude.

amessagetoyouYoni · 09/06/2013 15:54

I love Otis and Etta.

Hate Mabel and Rufus.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 09/06/2013 17:22

I like Edgar, but not Ed,and I like Otto, but its too matchy with Arlo...

I'm loving Etta Mabel though!

Romilly? You don't really notice the third syllable.
