I like it.

Lovely, one of my favourite names which I can't use. Unhelpfully love both nicknames too.

TheBirdsFellDownToDingADong · 02/06/2013 13:42

Still flat cap and whippets to me. Sorry.

I don't mind Albert but hate Albie or Bertie. These cutesy nicknames, along with Archie, Artie etc, have become so overused imo!

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/06/2013 17:45

I like it.

The right side of "old man name". Like Arthur. Not like Stanley.

Wildwaterfalls · 02/06/2013 17:50

Like it a lot, and like both nicknames. Prefer Bertie I think. Love the Bertie character in the Wodehouse novels (although not a great role model Smile).

Old man down the pub for me, sorry. Was my lovely dad's middle name - doesn't make me like the name though.

I like it but I'm a fan of 'old man' names in general!

Bertie is great nn

MisselthwaiteManor · 03/06/2013 12:01

I like it but not the nicknames, you can't really control what nicknames they'll be called though.

Ihatepeas · 03/06/2013 13:32

I really like it. It was going to be dds name had she been a boy.
