I like the name Colby.

SwishSwoshSwoosh · 01/06/2013 07:34

No, don't like it. Plus the Dynasty connection was the first thing that popped into my head.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 01/06/2013 07:42

Your son may not thank you for giving him such a name and may well hate it as an adult. It is such an important part of a person's identity.

Frikadellen · 01/06/2013 09:39

I don't mind it I also like Kirby

scottishmummy · 01/06/2013 12:13

kirby?that's a hair grip.
no that's just random and yuk

gohound · 01/06/2013 14:33

It's not that I don't like it - sounds fine. It's just the cheese thing.

lljkk · 01/06/2013 15:01

I never watched Dynasty so that ref means nothing to me. How many people are going to remember Dynasty in 5-25+ yrs?
Cousin has a Colby who is just about to turn 16. Seems like an ordinary name to me. His brother is Nathan, if you like that better.

Vocalista86 · 03/06/2013 15:51

I like Colby - I don't see that a name sounding Americain is a bad thing! :)

scottishmummy you seem to enjoy being rude! Is it a hobby outside of MN or just here?

Wishiwasanheiress · 03/06/2013 15:54

Agree with others I'd have to call him Geoff as in dynasty.....

Vocalista86 · 03/06/2013 15:58

Oh and I've never seen Dynasty...
