It's a girl! Shortlist decided but just can't choose.

We finally have a shortlist of 3 names for our little girl due in a few weeks:

India
Claudia
Merryn

Middle name is most likely going to be Fay (my mother's name)

I really love all of them but my reservations are:
India - a bit too leftfield?
Claudia - a bit harsh/stuffy?
Merryn - a bit plain?

These are only little niggles so really struggling to choose!
I just need some opinions! No holds barred :)

Claudia.

Depending on when she is due, use the names in rotation for 1 to 2 weeks between yourself and your DH/P rather than calling her the baby. You'll probably find that one of them feels more right than another.

Have never heard Merryn before, its lovely. I'd give it no 1, then India and then Claudia.

We had trouble deciding too and used our runner up name for Dd2 as we still loved it we just didnt tell anyone what our final choices had been. Both names suit them, I can't imagine swapping the names around.

You'll know which one she is when you see her! I like them all.

I love Claudia and merryn and haven't met anyone called these names.

I'd not heard of Merryn before, but I think that it's delightful.

I didn't read any baby name books when I had mine so I keep seeing names on here that I'd not come across before.

I think Merryn is the nicest. But they are all fine.

Merryns awfully popular on MN but not so irl at least in my experience do i'd give that 1s.

It's very pretty, reminds me of murren from braveheart

So i'd give that 1st even

Claudia is a beautiful name.

I love claudia. classy and elegant and suits all ages.

My dd2 is Claudia and I still adore the name! We haven't met any others either yet

I also love greta and Geraldine.

I have a Claudia (pronounced Claw-dia) so love that choice. We call her 'Clo' for short

I will admit that I don't think it's a baby name but will come into its own when she's a toddler, and naturally as she gets older. I haven't met any others and people do look surprised when they hear it and most think its lovely and unusual.

Also like Merryn on your list. Reminds me of a girl I know who is Meredith but called Merry for short.

Claudia. Merryn very vogue-ish at the moment, but i personally don't care for it. India is a bit 90s IMO.

Claudia is my fave of your three, and Claudia Fay goes very nicely.

Merryn is my favourite. I think it would suit any girl whereas the others I seem to have preconceptions about what type of girl they would suit iyswim. All nice names though.

I like Merryn best - before he was born DS was possibly going to be called Marin but luckily for him we came up with a boys' name instead.
