Very stuck for boys names

We found out yesterday we are having a boy. We are really stuck for names and knew from the start this would happen if it was a boy, as this is our second marriage and we have four boys between us.

DH likes a different style of name to me in general, so Finlay, Kaiden, Jamie have been some of his suggestions. I like names like Rowan and Joseph. DH refuses to consider Joseph as it is my youngest son's middle name, which I don't think matters.

The only two we can remotely agree on are Hugo and maybe Harry, but I don't think I like either enough to use them.

Help?

If you both like Harry then what about Harrison? Can be shortened if you like but it's a nice strong name?

Harry is lovely.

Have you thought about Daniel, best name ever IMO and Dan is cool too :)

There must be a name that you BOTH love - have a look at the ONS lists of ALL boys names used last year. There are lots and lots of names to choose from.

I can understand why your DH doesn't want to use your sons middle name,
but it is hard when you can't agree.
DH and I both wrote a list of about 30 names when we were picking a name for DC4. We were each allowed 10 definite no's, and the rest had to be maybe make the list or on the list, then we kept going through the lists until we ended up with 4-5 we agreed on. We waited until DS3 was here before choosing one of the final list.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is struggling with boy names. So far I only like jenson but I'm not totally convinced by it! It must be harder for u with boys already! I think if u like harry perhaps look for some similar names like Harrison, Harvey, harley, Harris. You also said Joseph which is a biblical name so have u tried looking up some other biblical names? U never know. Hope this helps xx
