HELP!! Partner hates all the baby names I like! :(

My partner hates every name I have come out with so far, I am 10weeks gone and just exploring g the options, what do you think of these names;

Finlay
Brodie

Only on he kind of accepts is Brodie!

Also I would appreciate other names???

Not fond, sorry. Olivia is okay and Freya.

Girl mostly lovely, boys sound very American - not keen.
Depends on your surname but other suggestions
Laural, Pernille, Alice/ia
Boys - much harder - something short and strong - Saul?

Freya, Olivia and Finlay are alright but I dont much like the others

I was having the same problem with my DH. He hated everything that wasn't Thomas or James etc etc.
I made a list of all the names I liked (complete with our surname next to each one) and stuck it on the fridge door. After a few days he said ...... I really like...
Sometimes I think they need to see something a few times to get used to an idea.

Wow maybe I am going a bit far fetched! Haha

My 1st childs name is Leon so I would like something that sounded good with his name also.

We both loved Amber, but one of his close friends have chosen that name for their daughter...

Is Charis pronounced the same a Cerys? Or do you pronounce the Ch?

There is a little girl who lives across the road from me called Cerys, she's very cute.

I like Olivia, Freya, Finlay and Harrison but I'm not too keen on the others.
