Most common name for your generation?

I just made list of 100 friends for party we are having. All mid 30s-mid 40s

Most common names are:

Rebecca
Lucy
Kate

James
Richard
Matt

All actually nice names not out of place today.

Early 30s and the popular names were Sarah, Claire, Rachel, Emma, Mark, James, Michael, and Andrew.

My mum was very surprised when DH and I named our daughter Sarah, as it was the super popular name for our generation, but we chose it for being timeless.

After all, Rachel and Claire both fell out of favour years ago, especially Claire which in 2011 "ranked" 817th. I was surprised to see how rapidly Claire/Clare (which is ranked even lower) fell out of favour.

Emma has remained strong though, so is also timeless.
