Girls names that abbreviate to Sam/Sammie

That aren't Samantha. Any ideas? DH likes Samantha but I'm not too keen (although it is growing on me) although I do like Sam/Sammie as abbreviations.

I think Samantha is far nicer than any of the other options. And not at all common these days.
