I really like 'Arnold' (Arnie) but DH has vetoed. Potentially because I love Schwarzenegger but that's not why I like it! I just think it's different and Arnie sounds really cute. Is it too old man tho? Or worse, a dogs name??

I love it Smile

Also love ernie Smile

Not doggy. Yes old man, but one I quite like.

I like Arnold - good solid unerused name.

I'm less keen on Arnie though - think the Alfie, Archie, Arnie, Arty type names are a little overdone.

Sashapineapple · 15/02/2013 13:03

Sorry, think it is awful.

YippeeTeenager · 15/02/2013 21:43

I think Arnold works OK for a little one and when he's older, but perhaps not for in the middle! Prefer Archie...

I think it's cute! Especially Arnie. And not a dogs name, don't worry!

DifferentNow · 16/02/2013 09:44

Not my cup of tea.

I like it actually & not come across any children with this name. It's underused but quite strong sounding. Definitely cute nickname potential too Smile

Quite a mixed bag of opinions which is ironic since I like it but DH doesn't :) not sure I love it enough to try and change his mind but there is nothing else I am really keen on. Still, plenty of time to figure it out...
