What do you reckon? Which is nicer? Or could Harriet Verity be a possibility...

Yay well I think it's decided by popular vote! Harriet. Phew. Thought Verity was going to confuse everything! Thanks everyone.

Oh course it could always be another DS...

Go Harty! (Or Harry...)

EnjoyResponsibly · 15/02/2013 23:16

Verity.

Harriet is a wank name.

Sorry it you're called Harriet

EnjoyResponsibly · 15/02/2013 23:17

Oops Blush

GW297 · 15/02/2013 23:42

Harriet

Pimmsbear · 16/02/2013 06:59

Definitely Harriet, though I may be biased! Ours appears to be a little strong willed though, as does another I met recently.

Mylittlepuds · 16/02/2013 08:58

Pfft at Harriet is a wank name. Hmm I think a few of my family would agree with you there. Harriet it is though. And maybe Harriet Verity. I don't know why but really like it.

Love Harriet. And Harriet Verity is fine, as long as your surname isn't Harris or Ferrers ir something!

kelda · 16/02/2013 09:55

Both pretty names.

Startail · 16/02/2013 10:10

The Harriet I know is a real little live wire,
Verity sounds a bit quieter and more serious,

Both are lovely.

Harriet Verity is lovely as long as you don't mind always being reminded of the name you decided not to go with.

DD2's second name would have been my first choice and somedays I'd love to swap it round.

GW297 · 16/02/2013 12:05

Harriet Verity is lovely!

NorbertDentressangle · 16/02/2013 12:13

Verity.

Not keen on Harriet I'm afraid. Probably to do with one that I know.

Stixswhichtwizzle · 16/02/2013 21:28

Harriet.

UnnamedFemaleProtagonist · 16/02/2013 21:59

Verity. I don't know any. I know one Harriet and her mum is very annoying and aspirational. Tres off putting.

highlystrung · 18/02/2013 12:31

Verity - lovely name!

takethatlady · 18/02/2013 12:45

Harriet. Very pretty. I don't really like names that are also words (Faith/Hope/Charity/Verity or, god forbid, Chastity) - I sort of find them a bit imposing. Don't think Verity is as pretty as Harriet, and doesn't have the nickname options (Harry/Hatty/Hetty, etc).

But both are perfectly good names. Go with your gut :)

aufaniae · 18/02/2013 16:10

Verity!
