I am watching Splash and suddenly thought Vernon would be a cool name for a boy, what do you think?

I think it could be cool. But because most of us don't know any young, cool Vernons, we tend to think of Harry Potter or other associations. These change quickly though, once we meet a lovely young Vernon!

I love the name Erin!

I can't get on board with Vernon though. A young Erin I know has a brother Nathaniel (Nate).

Vernan God Little! Horrendous character in a book, it kills the name for me, sorry.
How about Vinnie or Mario or Keith?
