Please help? Middle name definitely Grace.

Current ideas for first names:

Elizabeth (for my grandmother- would shorten to Aby)
Evelyn (Evie)
Madeleine (Maddie)
Camilla (Milly)
Imogen
Cecely
Or something Classical- having trouble with finding anything that doesn't have murderous or slutty connotations though- help needed!

Any other suggestions in this vein would be much appreciated, and/or your opinions on the above Smile

This is to go with big sister Caterina (called Cat) and surname beginning with J.

Thanks very much! (getting desperate...)

Imogen's my favourite from your list.

strawberryliv · 10/01/2013 21:53

Thanks! DH is quite keen on that too...

What a gorgeous list. Very like ours only a couple not thought of! If I did not know people with a couple of names would probably go for Imogen. We have Elizabeth shortened to Beth. Also on our list (or would be if one of them not existing DD's name): Lucy, Olivia (poss too popular now?) and (bit different but trad) Rachel.
Good luck

PorkusEnormous · 10/01/2013 22:07

please not Evie - so many. Elizabeth or Imogen :)

zenoushka · 11/01/2013 09:59

Imogen Grace is beautiful. Juliet is a really pretty name too, worth considering?

RobinSparkles · 11/01/2013 10:02

I think Elizabeth is my favourite from that list.

I know quite a few Evies but not short for Evelyn, which is lovely. Would you pronounce it like Eve - Lynn or Ever - Lynn?

gillian88 · 11/01/2013 10:06

Imogen is beautiful. I have a Ruby which I love!

StellaNova · 11/01/2013 10:11

I like Camilla Grace best, but they are all lovely.

Amy Grace?
Lydia Grace?

Littlecherublegs · 11/01/2013 12:49

Like Imogen best from your list.

Other suggestiions:
Clara
Cordelia
Ava
Eleanor
Phoebe
Felicity
Hazel
Amelia

Pasiphae · 11/01/2013 14:21

Imogen for me too. Imogen Grace sounds lovely.

I like Camilla and Cecily a lot, but it repeats the C, and I am one of those weirdos that likes different letters...

Eliza, Emmeline, Evangeline, Maisie, Marianne, Eloise?

amck5700 · 11/01/2013 14:31

Caterina and Amaris
Caterina and Lillian

From your list I like Evelyn nn Effie

oneforthemoney · 11/01/2013 14:33

Imogen Grace or Madeline Grace for me.

kerala · 11/01/2013 14:44

Avoid Eve. Crazily popular round here (one third of the girls in DDs class named a variant of this). Its this generations Sarah.

delilah88 · 11/01/2013 23:14

All nice, you might also like Lorna?

BananaHammocks · 12/01/2013 01:06

Talking of slutty connotations Imogen makes me think of the Big Brother tart that had an affair with Ryan Giggs!

DessieLou · 12/01/2013 03:49

what good taste you have! We have a Madeleine Elizabeth! Others on our (slightly random) list were Cora, Natalie, Elena, Francesca (nn Frankie?) . I love Camilla but would have cammie as nn.

Ra88 · 28/01/2013 14:37

My daughters name is Olivia grace and we love it :)

MumOfMissy · 28/01/2013 14:43

I love Camilla from your list.
Other Classical suggestions would be
Cassia,
Flavia,
Livia,
Emily

Startail · 28/01/2013 14:47

Imogen, Cecely and Elizabeth.

DD2 could have been Imogen, would have suited and been a lot less common than what DH choose.

My sister and I both begin with the same letter never thought about until DH reject one suggestion for DD2 for that reason.

HoneyandRum · 28/01/2013 22:05

Georgina Grace

Astley · 29/01/2013 14:07

Yeah I wouldn't have another C name, I've discounted names based on them starting with the same letter as DS's name for that reason!

I love Imogen Grace, really beautiful.

Allalonenow · 29/01/2013 14:12

Imogen would be my first choice, though I like all your names except Evelyn.

HoneyandRum · 30/01/2013 10:22

Antonia and Fernanda are also very lovely

RubyGrace17 · 01/02/2013 17:48

I like Imogen I think best. Imogen Grace is lovely :)
