Girls long list - opinins?

Like quite flowery, feminine names I guess, looking at the list:

Valentina
Evangelina
Loretta (family name, would be Etta for short)
Livia
Rosanna / Rosa
Maria or Marianna
Aurora

I am half Irish, so also considering Saoirse and Maeve. Love Lasairfhiona (Las-ah-reen-ah) but think spelling too tricky for Brits.

Any other suggestions welcome.

Well, I'm all for giving a child a name that they can tell to people without them saying "Pardon", or asking them how to spell it, so, from that list, I'd go with

Such pretty names!
Although I wouldn't go for Aurora, it's just too 'Disney princess' for me... being the name of a Disney princess and all!!

I think marianna is my favourite

I really like Rosa and Marianna.

Valentina is gorgeous! Not keen on the others, maybe Rosanna is ok.

I also love Livia and Rosa. I considered Irish names for my daughters as DH is from there but if I chose one I would use a British spelling - believe me I have a "foreign" name that no one can spell. I know a "Sorcha" who had to change the spelling. I have a niece who is Aurora (lives overseas) and I would have called my DD that if my sister had not "reserved" it - quite common in parts of Europe, I think it is a lovely name.

I love love love Saoirse and Maeve (both are on our long shortlist, along with Orla and Roisin. I've got a difficult to spell Irish name and always loved it, even when nobody has a bloody clue how to spell it!

I wouldn't recommend Saoirse, my niece is called Saoirse and whilst it is a beautiful name when pronounced correctly unfortunately in England it rarely is. My niece's friends call her variants such as Soorsher, soorsh, sersha, etc, even she herself started calling herself soorsh just to 'fit in'.
