What names do you think now have a negative connotation ie from celebrities etc

What names in your opinion are unlikely to be as popular as they once were ie the popularity of the name Myra declined dramatically once Myra Hindley was convicted and I cant imgine Jimmy wll be as popular in the future.

I doubt Jimmy will suffer. It's a common name. Myra isn't - people generally know of one, and unfortunately it's Myra Hindley. Same for Adolf. Fred and Rosemary survived untarnished though - again very popular names.

Jimmy (Saville) will definately suffer imo!

Really? I know it's in the news now but next year or the one after...? It'll drop out of public interest within 2 years, I think. I can't see it affecting the position of James in the charts.

What about Adam, the young man who shot the 20 children last week. Will it affect the popularity of the name Adam? I honestly do doubt it.

Hummmm I really don't think I could name a child Jesus. Dont get me wrong I am a Christian so have nothing against Jesus himself but

I think Myra may make a comeback, there are quite a few grannies / great aunts with that name and I don't think the moors murders are as 'real' to teenagers who will be having kids in 10 years time.

Jesus Christ was the name of the first person to be creamated legally in England, well the cremation set a legal prescident.

I think names that have a meaning that is more known will not make a comeback eg Gaye.

Loads of Jesus in Spain and Latin America .

I was expecting this to be more about celeb names that have been mocked, so no one will even attempt now (Apple, Moses, Blue etc).

Don't think Adolf will ever come back.
